Diaconate
Our main vehicle of care and assistance for congregants struggling with challenging or crisis situations is the Diaconate. This group consists of men (deacons) and women (deaconesses) who have been nominated by church members, assessed by church officers, and trained both theologically and practically prior to being presented by the Session to church members for election and appointment. They also receive ongoing equipping for the purpose of coming alongside congregants through loving, truth-telling relationships. The Diaconate seeks to meet these congregants’ practical, visible needs while also fostering a heart change through encounters with Jesus and one another.

The vision at Redeemer Counseling Services is to transform people from all walks of life through professional, biblically-based counseling, and to equip others to counsel through the redemptive power of the gospel.
